Sales Consultant : Orb Queenstown

We have a person leaving so we have an immediate position for a permanent, full time replacement to be based here in QUEENSTOWN.

ORB Queenstown sell a full range of communications and technology products encompassing Telecom’s full range and Cellular, Landline and Data products.  We are also in PABX, Laptops, Printers/ faxes , EFTPOS markets.

This is primarily an outbound role with a base of customers to build from.  It will involve some work backing up the retail shop front people when they are away, and also have a base of cellphone customers to service, primarily in the small and medium  business market.
However if you are particularly passionate about either in-store, or alternately outbound sales, it is possible we could structure the role to be solely one or other of those.

We need a person conversant in the Telecom range of products and services, who also has a proven selling ability.  We will train in the other products as required.

We offer competitive remuneration composed of a base, plus a healthy commission component.

Business Development Manager : Orb East Tamaki

A passion for exceeding expectations

Working out of our East Tamaki branch we are looking for an individual who has extraordinary passion excelling at gaining, maintaining and developing business relationships.
 
Reporting to the Sales & Operations Manager you will ultimately be responsible for acquiring new business and servicing our existing customer base within the area.  Identifying customer’s needs and presenting solutions comes naturally to you and you will thrive on exceeding customer’s expectations.
 
Previous experience within the PABX, IT or Telecommunications industries would be advantageous.
 
The successful applicant will possess the following:
  • Accomplished relationship manager within the B2B sector
  • Great communication skills and not afraid of cold calling
  • Strong sales skills and understanding of the sales cycle
  • Results driven and the ability to work autonomously within the defined scope of the role
  • Effective decision maker with a willingness to learn

The successful applicant will spend time learning the basics of the many products and services we use to tailor packages for our customers.  This is a full time Monday to Friday position.
 
As the right person for the role, you will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package based on sales achievement and gross profit generation. Packages will start with a base salary of 40k plus fuel card, laptop and mobile phone.

Seeking switched on staff to join a busy team 

Orb Communications are a long established entity in the Bay of Plenty having served the region in the telecommunications and mobile radio markets, for 20 years - so far.

Due to internal promotion and high workload, our Mount Maunganui store is currently seeking switched on staff to join our busy team.

This position requires a competent sales person with a strong focus on delivery of top customer service.  We are focused in the main on business markets – so seek a professional, reliable person  with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

We are looking to add a team member who will be with us for the long term, so a commitment to living in the Bay is required. The industry we operate in is not for the faint hearted: it is fast paced, ever-evolving and requires reps to be self-motivated and determined to learn and apply knowledge constantly.
