Lindsay Wills is a born and bred Southlander and is the Son of the company’s founder Maurice Wills (retired).
Lindsay’s interests over the years have included ice hockey (which he played for nine years) gliding, power flying, skiing and presently mountain biking with his teenage son.
Lindsay has been with the company for the past twenty-three years, after leaving the car industry where he used to sell new Mazda Motor vehicles.
When Lindsay started with Jackson & Wills, the company owned two premises, one in the main retail area of town which sold mid to top end audio/visual equipment (where Lindsay did his apprenticeship) and the other, which was the company’s original site. This site dealt in the sales and servicing of commercial electronics and communication systems.
In 1993 a decision was made to sell the town store and rebuild on the existing site with all products under one roof, which has turned out to be a very worthwhile decision.
