TOLL-FREE NUMBERS - FREE SERVICES
Each 0800 plan comes with these FREE 0800 services to help make your Toll Free Number work for you.
- Busy/No Answer Call Advance: Redirect calls when the 0800 number is busy or not being answered.
- Time of Day Diversion: Redirect calls to another number (or answer phone) at pre-set times of the day (eg: after hours)
- Confidential PIN: Provides an exclusive service to your top customers by giving them an 0800 PIN.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
It’s important to please note the following:
- All prices exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
- The pricing plans shown are for a 24 month contract.
- An Early Termination fee of $176.89 +GST applies.
- These 0800 plans are only available to Telecom Business Customers and Telecom’s standard Business Terms and conditions apply.
- A one-off fee of $50+GST applies to all new 0800, 0508 or WordNumber connections.
- Calling caps do not apply to Toll Free Number calls.
- A minimum Monthly Usage Fee of $20+GST applies. This covers all calling costs up to that value. Once calling costs reach $20+GST, calls will be charged at the rates above.
- All prices are per minute and are charged at a 1 minute minimum and per second thereafter.
- Calls using additional features such as Follow Me where your call is diverted will incur an additional charge. These will be in accordance to your selected plan and the appropriate call type.

Inbound International Toll Free Numbers
Expanding your market overseas? An International Business Toll Free Number can help you establish your business and your products, without having to set up an office in another country.
Available from 40 countries, an International Business Toll Free Number means calls can be answered in New Zealand on your landline, mobile, fax or (if you prefer your sleep at 3am) by your Message Manager. Calls are billed straight to your phone bill and are charged at prices detailed below.
For a truly "global" presence - set up a Universal International Freephone Number. Standard across different countries this number will be recognised internationally as a free call to customers.
Outbound International Toll Free Numbers
Like your sleep? Let someone in a closer timezone take the call then. If you have offices in different countries, keep your business running by having your International Toll Free Number calls forwarded to another country after hours. Simple.
All you have to do is set up an Outbound International Toll Free Number in New Zealand. Your call can be answered in any of the 255 countries and territories around the world where we operate a Direct Dial service.

Important things you need to know:
- A $225 (excl GST) application fee for Universal International Freephone applies
- A $50 one-off fee applies to the connection of a standard Outbound International 0800 Number
- Minimum usage fee per country - $35.00 a month (excl GST)
- Commit to a 12-month contract and you could save up to $180 on your minimum monthly charges. Reduce your minimum monthly usage fee to just $20.00 a month for 12 months when you commit to a 12-month contract on your International 0800 line. This includes Inbound and Outbound 0800 Lines as well as Universal International Freephone Numbers.
- Each month's calling costs that exceed $20 will be charged in accordance with the pricing of your plan.
- A one-off new connection fee, early cancellation fees and Telecom terms apply.
- Only available to Telecom Business Customers.

Confidential PIN: Provides an exclusive service to your top customers by giving them an 0800 PIN. Available FREE
Geographic call screening / diversion: Calls from Mobile phones and /or particular geographic areas can be screened out so that you can choose to accept only calls from regions you service. The Geographic diversion feature allows you to choose where calls are answered, depending on where the call has originated.
0800 Follow Me: If you're on the move and want your 0800 number to follow you, we can arrange for you to be able to quickly and easily change the answering point of your 0800 number yourself.
Call Prompting: To help you keep your costs down you will want to ensure that customers speak to the correct person first time. Telecom 0800 can enable you to provide options for customers before the call is connected - such as press 1 sales, 2 for accounts, or 3 for customer service.
Call Diversion: If you can't always answer your calls in the same place all the time, we can arrange for you to answer them at a place that suits you.
Percentage call distribution: Distributes calls to up to 10 locations, on a prearranged percentage basis. The percentage of calls is calculated on a daily basis.
Additional Plans: Sometimes there are events that mean you need to change the way you manage your 0800 calls. For example, a special promotion may mean a change in where your calls are answered or what options your customers hear. Certain times of the years are busier than others and may need to be handled differently.
Rather than trying to re-configure your 0800 call-answering pattern at the last moment you can setup as many as 10 pre-defined call-answering plans, which can be activated at a moments notice.
Courtesy response: You can also record a short message for callers to hear before they are connected. This could be a simple welcome and is a good way of screening out accidental callers.
Distinctive Tone: Notifies you when a caller has rung you on your 0800 number.
Audiotext: Provides a flexible menu of pre-recorded information and the ability to record up to 1,500 caller messages.
InfoCall: If you want customers to have up-to-date information but don't want to tie up your staff with routine enquiries, 0800 InfoCall provides pre recorded information for up to 300 customers at once and can be quickly updated.
